Technical Sewing Event: How to Read a Sewing Pattern

November 4 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

How to read a sewing pattern

Join us for our November Technical Sewing Event – How to read a sewing pattern

Not all of our members are garment makers, for those of you sewists who don’t have a lot of experience with reading clothing patterns, this event is for you!

We will have a beginner level pattern available that you will learn how to read while making a fun drawstring bag to take home.

Please bring the following items with you: a sewing machine and basic sewing notions, 1/2 yard of 44″ wide fabric, 1 pair of 30″ shoelaces, or a 60″ length of cording.

Pre-made supply kits will be available for $10. Please contact Anne Kuehn no later than November 1st if you would like to purchase a kit (Anne@designtofashion.com).

We will be meeting at Koelbel Public Library, Meeting Room A
